GCSE Curriculum
The transition to secondary schooling can be a daunting step for some girls and our curriculum and pastoral systems are designed to develop confidence and a sound academic base
Girls are given plenty of time to settle in. Setting for Maths and French starts in Form 1, extending to include Science and English in Form 3 and continuing for core subjects to GCSE. We also operate a continuous screening programme to identify any learning difficulties that may require additional support from our Skills Development Unit.
In Form 1 girls study the following subjects:
|
English |
Geography |
In Forms 2 and 3 girls may add Spanish or German.
