Bruton girls lead busy lives. Alongside the academic programme, girls have the opportunity to develop their talents in a great many areas through involvement in extra-curricular activities.
Over half the school is studying a musical instrument and we have three choirs, two orchestras, a wind band, a flute group and several ensemble groups. School drama productions include girls of all ages and Inter-Hall competitions allow many less experienced girls to perform for an audience.
Regular sporting fixtures are played against local schools and all pupils have the chance to represent the school at sport. Girls are encouraged to try new sports and talented sportswomen are given every opportunity to excel.
The girls also find time to devote much energy to the many charity events and activities throughout the year, raising thousands of pounds to benefit worthy causes. They are encouraged to have a healthy social life and are given the opportunity to attend dances and social events organised both at Bruton and other local schools.
