Forest School

To encourage and inspire children of any age through positive outdoor experiences

We aim to use Forest School to enable young children to be independent, self-motivated, courageous and considerate. Nursery and Reception children enjoy weekly Forest School sessions with our qualified Forest School teacher.

Activities are set up to be within the capabilities of every child in the group.Teamwork skills are developed through games and challenges and self-esteem is heightened through activities such as shelter-building and environmental art.

Children use Forest School equipment to make anything from beads to xylophones.

If a child feels good about themselves they will try new things without fear of failure and from this, emotional understanding and academic success will develop.
