Nursery Down on the Farm

The children in Sunflowers nursery class went to Redlands Farm in Evercreech to look at how the animals are looked after in the winter as part of their winter theme.

The children were able to be part of a working farm for the day. They fed newborn lambs with bottles, watched cows being milked and had a tractor ride to a field to feed the sheep.

Mrs Smith, Nursery teacher, said "It was a wonderful hands on learning opportunity for all the children to experience real farming life first hand."
