ENTRANCE ASSESSMENTS
All girls joining the Senior School at Bruton School for Girls are required to sit entrance assessments chiefly for diagnostic purposes. These are normally held in the January prior to their year of entry although in special circumstances, such as a mid-year enrolment, we will allow girls to sit the assessments individually.

On the Entrance Assessment Days, as well as completing assessment tasks, the girls participate in organised activities or they attend lessons with our current students. Activities may be for example a Modern Languages game or a Science experiment. These activities are designed to be fun and give the girls an opportunity to meet some of the other pupils joining their class.

Assessments for entry to the Senior School Form 1 (11+), Form 2 (12+) and Form 3 (13+) are taken in Maths, English and Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
